Introduction to Algorithms by Thomas H. Cormen, Charles E. Leiserson and Ronald L. Rivest and Clifford Stein : My Opinion
I would give this book a rating of 3.5 out of 5. It is a good book to get introduced to the concepts of algorithm design. Algorithm design is not a topic that can be covered by a single book and so other books should be read along with this. Topics like backtracking is not covered in the book.
